Three steps anyone can learn to help preventing suicide
College students deal with a mountain of stress. This can build to depression, anxiety, and even suicidal thoughts. QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention training is available to faculty, staff, and students.
Building a strong community for Recovery
Peer support is key in recovery. Dedicated Collegiate Recovery Communities are available to students experiencing substance abuse or addiction.
Student Challenges
College students face a mountain of challenges. These challenges can lead to feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression — and Auburn’s students are not immune. Safeguarding our students’ mental health is critical in preventing substance abuse and strengthening their academic success. With your help, we are able to provide our students with high-quality mental health services along with alcohol and drug-related education. We believe supporting our students goes beyond providing an excellent educational experience — healthy development of the whole person is crucial if we are to enable our students to fulfill their enormous potential.
