Creating a More Inclusive Bar Culture in Auburn, Alabama

Raise the Bar is an initiative that seeks to decrease the incidences of harassment, violence, and alcohol-related harm among university students in the Auburn community. Raise the Bar works with local bars and restaurants to:

  • educate staff about high-risk alcohol use and power-based personal violence; and,
  • train staff in bystander intervention strategies.

Raise the Bar is a collaboration between Auburn University Student Government Association and the Auburn Prevention Coalition.
