In 2013, Auburn University Recreation and Wellness opened its doors to the 240,000 square-foot Recreation and Wellness Center housing a 1/3-mile inclining track, two 50-ft. climbing towers, a bouldering wall, 6 basketball courts, two multi-activity courts, a resort-style pool and hot tub, and an outdoor equipment rental center and bike shop. The space also includes multiple functional fitness areas, five group fitness studios, and a dedicated personal training and Olympic/powerlifting space.
The Recreation and Wellness Center is a virtual backyard for Auburn students, with quick access from key areas on campus.
Intramural Fields
More than 15 acres of green space provide Auburn University students with the opportunity for informal recreation, organized team activities, and a chance to compete in their favorite sport.
Club and Intramural Sports are played year-round at the lighted fields which are located next to the Jane B. Moore Softball Complex.
The Plex
The SportsPlex and intramural fields expand offerings for club and intramural sports and provide state-of-the-art facilities for intercollegiate competition, tournaments, and special events.

Tennis and
Pickleball
Serve up the action by utilizing one of 11 tennis courts or 8 pickleball courts located on Thatch and Hemlock.
Sand Volleyball
Sand volleyball courts are available at both The Rec and the SportsPlex.
